Breandan is a godling doing godless things. For the one he loves he's prepared to destroy the balance of nature. His beloved Rae has passed into the Otherworld, and he's determined to bring her back, no matter the consequence. Blood sacrifice is not the only cost for summoning a divine spirit to mortal form. The Loa are desperate to return to the realm of the living, and with Cael bitter in defeat, he considers an alliance even his Coven cannot hope to control.

Lochlann is conflicted. Blood tied to a vampire, his Wyld is in turmoil yet he struggles to focus on anything but Daphne. Goblins encroach on fairy borders and swarm over shifter territory. Proud, the new Pack Alpha remains reluctant to bind his kind to the fairies who betrayed them, regardless of his claim on the new High Priestess.

Can the creatures of the forests coexist as they did so long ago? Family. Honour. Love. There comes a time when all dreaming ends.

Summon Rae Wilder Book 4 eBook Penelope Fletcher

Okay the good:

Less mistakes and typos...which I could care less about, it is all about the story to me.

The story rocks, great idea , very good story line and the characters you can follow and get into.

Rae is a great figure, real, foulable, naive, loveable, and sassy.

Her boy is a tough , smart, man god, who will handle it.

The other characters, wel wel well done.

The super bad: this is not finished... What the hell!, seriously, I have written 26 books, and I can see that this is far from properly put to bed. It is short, and cut off and wrapped up like a spike Lee movie, which is a drag and a waste. Come one, really, a great story deserves more of a grand finale. There is such a deep back story and side stories that were not explored but they were opened?

Having said that, I will say this.. I love this authors work and I will always be a fan.

Summon Rae Wilder Book 4 eBook Penelope Fletcher Reviews

I just finished the last book in this series and I have to say, penelope Fletcher is a fantastic author. I could not put this series down until the very end. These books held paranormal intrigue fantastic battles and a love story that makes you yearn for a love that deep. I'm not very good reviews but I wanted to say that I loved this series and look forward to reading any and all other books written by Mrs. Fletcher
I didn't know this book came out till i was suggesting the series to a friend and she said that the last one was out. I immediately went and bought it. I could NOT put my down. I caught myself up way past 3 in the morning several times trying to finish it. An unexpected but fabulous ending!
It's really too bad I have not much good to say about this book, as I rather liked the first books in the series, despite a number of word misusages and a lot of prose that needed pruning. This book, however, is so awfully written I am desperate for it to end. I'm not even done yet and I can barely make headway and don't think I'll finish...because the previous stories' problems are exponentially worse! First, there is the disconnected prose that usually involves big, multi-syllabic words used incorrectly, coupled with the fact that the ideas don't mesh. You jump around all over the place in the writing, and it takes pages to get anywhere, leaving the reader frustrated and guessing as to what the author is trying to say.

An example "My gaze drifted towards her, but I made them pass quickly as if she were some insignificant thing skulking for favour." Huh? Them refers to what? And 'skulking'? That's not what it means, which is "to move around or to wait somewhere in a secret way, especially because you are going to do something bad."

Anyhow, the other books have similar problems, and the problems increase with each volume; but this volume is seriously in need of copyediting to fix grammar and other issues.
I must say, I really enjoyed this series. There are so many books out there in the supernatural/vampire/shifter/fairy, ect... genre, but I feel like these books are more well written than most. That out of the way, the last book wasn't my favorite. It wasn't bad, but not great. I wasn't thrilled with the way each chapter was written from a different character's point of view. It was kind of nice to get insight into the other character's thoughts and feelings, but I feel like it took too much away from the main characters. I would have preferred it just from Rae, or maybe Rae and Breandan. What bothered me the most? The end. Didn't like it. It's one of those...kinda-sorta happy endings. The book is almost 100% conflict, I like when they go into the happy part a little more, maybe give a glimpse into the future, if that makes sense. Plus, I would not have picked that ending, it's not what I wanted for this series at all! I'm hoping there is another book...I could definitely go for more. While I felt this one wasn't as good as the first three, I do love the series and the characters. If there is another, I hope it doesn't take so long this time!
The storyline of the first four books in this series is mediocre at best. I can, perhaps, get past the incredibly drawn-out, inch-by-inch interactions among characters and protracted introspections, however what drives me absolutely crazy is the author's English-language deficiency. Misspellings, incorrect usages, malapropisms and confusing homonyms abound. In fact, before the author submits another book for sale on , I'd like to offer my editing services (for a nominal fee, of course). I can guarantee, it can only improve the reading experience for others. As it is, the egregious errors are so distracting that I can't see the story for the mistakes.
I have nothing bad to say about this book. I love the Rae Wilder series. I would love to see more from them. This book could still go either way. It could end here but it could also get alot more interesting. It is one of my favorite series of books. I would love to see Rae and Brendan save the fae world again but I would also love to see what happens with everyone while they are gone. Like how Rae's brothers are getting along. If Anna and her father are good or if she still hates him. And how all the were packs are doing. I want to see more of Bakor and Gunnar. These are really awsome books
I really enjoyed the first three books in this series. The author should have stopped at book 3! Book 4 goes off in an odd God-type direction that made no sense at all! I hated it and advised my sister who had just finished the first three books to not waste her time! It's like the author got bored! Hated is book! Very disappointed . If I could give 0 stars I would have.
