I enjoyed reading this series. For the most part it was entertaining and the romantic parts and heat were good. Sometimes the action in this book became a little repetitive to me and so I would put it down for a little while.I liked Kane, the hero, much more in this book and in the first one than I did in the second. In the second I feel like Kane treated Alyssa poorly and became less of a loving, crazy in love, protective possessive alpha. In this book that Kane returned. In this book he had Alyssa's best interest at heart, accepting her how she was as opposed to how everyone else wanted her to be. In addition, he continued to pursue her, not handing her over to Cage on a silver plate like he did in the second book. I was glad that he continued to put the _itch Amy in her place, to get her to stop interfering in his relationship with Alyssa. Regarding Cage, he did not redeem himself much in my eyes after cheating on Alyssa in the second book and finding out what else he did to her, although I believe that he had her best interests at heart when tricking her. I was glad that he did not get a HEA with anyone and still loved Alyssa at the end of the series. I am glad about this not because I disliked him, because I really didn't, but I hate when everyone, including OM that love the heroines, are paired up at the end of the story. It feels like their love was not real to begin with and everything is too tidy.
I am glad that the series did not go past 3 books as I think that the story was told well enough. Having more books would not add enough of a benefit and I probably would not read past the 3rd book. However, I will continue to read other stories written by this author because I really like her heroes and enjoy reading her stories.

Book three does not disappoint. It answers all the questions from book one and two. I loved all the characters. I was shocked to see who the real bad guy was. I did not see that coming at all. This book was dramatic, suspenseful, funny and sexy as hell. Good versus evil and light versus dark. But the real winner was the gray cause everyone fought with both sides of the coin. Well done C.M. Owens. I'm a fan now. Onto the next book.
This third book in the Deadly Beauties trilogy was exciting and fast paced. Owens does a great job of bringing the characters to a very suspense filled conclusion throwing in some plot twists that you never see coming. If you love paranormal romance and suspense you can't go wrong with this book. I was thoroughly entertained.
I've loved this entire series but this is certainly the best!! The series is wildly original and so much fun. I read A LOT if paranormal books, thus one kept me reading from book one till the end of this in less than 18 hrs. It contains some cliches whole making fun of them, has some plot twist that if you read closely you can see conning but it has enough spunk that there are things you could never guess!! Fun and unpredictable with out being over the top! The characters are easy to fall for and entertaining. The authors done a great job at throwing in just the right am sound of humor. Personally I could've done without a couple if the detailed passionate encounters but they didn't go overboard and it makes it a worthy ADULT read.
Huge thanks to C.M Owens for the first read that's really drawn me in over the last few months (conning from someone that reads a lot that is HUGE!)
I would highly recommend the entire series. This is the only one I've reviewed but may go back and review the others. Worth the time and money ;). I was too busy jumping from one book to the next to slow down and review! I'm almost sad this series is over!! I'll b looking for more from the author.
The conclusion to the series and I just have to say there were so many things I loved about this book. The book ends beautiful with everything tied up. You aren't left hanging. And she does a spinoff series of Deadly Beauties so you do get to see Gage get his happily ever after in the first book of the spin off. Here Kane and Alyssa find out so much about themselves, each other and who they are meant to be. If you were a fan of the first book but had a hard time getting through the second book due to the love triangle. This book is one you definitely want to read. There are multiple POV in this book which I absolutely love. You get insight into what exactly was going through Kane's mind after he finds out about Alyssa being a witch, which is great. You get conversations between main characters that resolve issues and give insight into issues from the previous book. This book is really all about wrapping up everything and it does a really great job of it. You get POV from Alyssa, Kane and Gage. The one thing I didn't like about one of the twists and at the same time did like was the explanation of why Alyssa briefly hooked back up with gage at the end of Poison's Kiss. I am happy we got an explanation but I hate the context in which it leaves Gage. I just really didn't see his character doing some of the things he did in this book. Overall great book. Really enjoyed it.
Beautiful ending to a great series. So much craziness and badassness. Alyssa is force to be reckoned with and she kicked some serious ass in this book. I loved seeing her dark side come out and play. Poor Gage though, I really felt for the guy but you can't mess with fate. Well everything came together nicely and ended happily and was even some openings for future spinoffs. I really LOVED this series, it was awesome and although it's over for Alyssa and Kane the story continues with some of our other favorite characters! I can't wait for what happens next!
